Northern Ireland Guardian Ad Litem Agency
The Northern Ireland Guardian Ad Litem Agency (NIGALA) acts as the “voice” for children who are the subjects of public law and adoption proceedings before the Northern Ireland Courts. The guardian ad litem is an independent officer of the Court who is experienced in working with children and families.
Fluent Technology has worked with NIGALA to replace a legacy information system (built using MS Access) with a modern SQL Server based client server software solution built in Visual Studio.NET. Our application framework, BASIS, was used at the heart of the application and, following detailed business process reviews we assisted with the development of new operational procedures and delivered comprehensive user training. NIGALA’s new case management system went ‘live’ in May 2008 and the project has included MS Exchange and Blackberry integration .

State Pathology Department
Dermott Fullerton, a Project Manager at the State Patholigist's Department commenting on successful implementation of a Case Management system said "Now that CMS has gone-live, I would like to place on record my congratulations to you and your colleagues in Fluent Technology on how you managed and delivered the new case management system for State Pathology.
When thinking back over the duration of the project I go back to paragraph 1.2 of your bid where you said 'Companies do not build solutions, people do'. This statement stood out when I read your tender and kept it in mind as the project progressed. If this is Fluent Technology's mantra then I believe you practive what you preach."
South Tyneside Council
David Bowman, Information Manager at South Tyneside Council commissioned Fluent Technology to implement a 'Community Information System' (CIS) for the council. He clearly recognises the value that Fluent offers:
"We were extremely impressed by their 'can do' attitude, innovative approach and forward thinking outlook. The team at Fluent showed its technical knowledge and displayed the right expertise to embrace South Tyneside's problems from the outset and introduced its web based solution, Origin to form the basis of the CIS. Our first observation was that the solution would be simple to use, yet powerful enough to add value and achieve all, if not more than our original set of goals."
Action Renewables
Action Renewables is an organisation based in Northern Ireland whose focus is to stimulate awareness of the issues associated with conventional energy use and of the range of solutions available through renewable energy technologies. It is a joint venture between the Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment (DETI) and local energy group Viridian.
Fluent Technology has developed a Client and Grant Management system which is used to manage grant applications for the ‘Environment and Renewable Energy Householder Fund’. Features of this system include automated workflow and process management, mail/email merge, postcode lookup, bank account validation and management reporting. This system is used by three organisations at different geographical locations and has a sophisticated authentication and role based security model allowing for differing levels of system access.
