Asset Co is an International Fire and Rescue Service business. AssetCo provide fully outsourced fire and rescue services, including the provision of personnel, training and equipment. AssetCo operate in the civil defence, armed forces aviation and oil and gas industries.

Requirements
AssetCo were rapidly growing both within the UK and worldwide. In order to meet the demand for their workload AssetCo had to continuously recruit high calibre firefighters worldwide. AssetCo determined that a tool was needed to streamline the management of their recruitment process.

Their current system was time consuming and inconsistent with applicants applying via email, post and telephone. There was no structured method of applying for a position or of managing the applicants. AssetCo realised that they needed a sophisticated, well defined recruitment process that would allow potential candidates to self register via the website, saving AssetCo staff valuable time and resources. They needed a seamless solution that managed recruitment from their initial application right to their placement worldwide.

Solution
Fluent Technology worked with AssetCo previously to create their website, using a Content Management System and delivered a solution resulting in a website which could be managed internally was also created with language variation so it could easily be translated into Arabic for their UAE market.

Due to the success of the website AssetCo were confident that Fluent Technology could deliver a system to their requirements. The result was a robust and secure online fire-fighter application process for both the English speaking and Arabic markets and it is now a successful, integral part of the AssetCO website. Fluent Technology has transformed the recruitment process for AssetCo. The companies worked closely together to engineer a tightly managed process that meets all legislation requirements, allows candidates to self register and to track their own application online. It manages the process from initial application right through to the placement of the fire-fighter in any geographic location and most importantly it is consistent so that each fire fighter goes through the same stages of recruitment making comparisons and selection easier for AssetCo staff.
