Oxfam's vision is to have a world without poverty and they are committed to fundraising worlwide to achieve this. Oxfam also rely on public donations following appeals to continue their work. Oxfam Ireland recognised that online donations were are a fantastic way to continuously and instantly get public support, therefore they required a secure system that would process public donations on their website.
Solution
Fluent Technology created an online secure system to capture donations from the public. The solution is featured on their public website and encourages people to make a one-off donation or to set up a monthly direct debit donation. The solution also gives the public the option of using Paypal to donate.
Value
The online secure system means that donations can be received instantly and they provide urgently needed funds for emergency relief work. Oxfam can now direct the public to the website during an appeal which means that the public can immediately donate and the funds are recieved quickly and securely.
