Fluent Staff Take to the Lagan!

Fluent recently enjoyed a staff Team Building Event at Shaw’s Bridge, Belfast, with Mobile Team Adventure. All our staff took to the great outdoors and participated in a variety of tasks.
It was fantastic to get away from our everyday environment and take up challenges to improve team working, motivation and morale. The evening was an excellent mix of problem solving and fun activities that challenged even our brightest software developers!
After the challenge of the team games we took to the Lagan to test our canoeing and kayaking skills. For many this was a completely new activity as was evidenced by the difficulties experienced in steering and navigation! Some of us spent more time than we would have liked going in circles or bumping into the river banks but everyone was united in their enjoyment of the activity. A few braver team members tackled the rapids, with one unlucky person parting company with his kayak, much to the delight of the onlookers!
Corporate Team building is vital to the ethos at Fluent Technology. We know that when team morale is high our efficiency, performance and service to our customers improves. As an Investors in People bronze company we love trying new ideas to make sure we continue to invest in our staff.
