Fluent Win Contract with Stockport Partnership

Fluent Technology has won a contract to supply a Local Information System to the Stockport Partnership using our ORIGIN LIS and data collaboration platform.
The Stockport Partnership brings together representatives from the voluntary, community, public and business sectors. It aims to improve the quality of life for the people of Stockport by setting out a long term vision, promoting social, environmental and economic wellbeing, pinpointing problems, improving services and targeting resources to address local needs.
In order to their improve efficiencies Stockport recognised a need for a Local Information System that could enable them to share data and information across the partnership organisations. The proposed solution needs to:
- Bring together useful data and information about the borough from partner organisations
- Integrate data and information from internal and external stakeholders via electronic transfer
- Provide access to local people of up-to-date information about the borough, local services and service performance in their area
- Provide a data repository for partner organisations so that they can analyse data and inform the development of policies and plan future services
- Provide clear processes and structures to manage information across the partnership
Fluent Technology competed in a competitive tender and we are delighted to be chosen as the supplier of choice for the Stockport Partnership. Our vision for the Stockport Partnership solution is of a fully integrated local information system and data observatory to help drive policy-making whilst minimising the efforts required for collating & managing information and compiling reports. The system will also support greater volumes of “self-service” activity by the public and partners.
